Hello

I strongly believe in the power of art. We’ve living in trying times, and human creativity, self-expression and culture are more important than ever.

My artwork is often inspired by music, poetry and novels. Images form in my head when I hear a particularly moving lyric or clever bit of prose. I love that when people see my work, it provokes thought. They wonder what it means. Viewers can have different interpretations, and none of them are wrong.

When I’m not painting, I enjoy gardening, weightlifting, craft beer, reading and video games. I live in Colorado with my wife and daughter. I also have deep roots in Oklahoma where I grew up.
